Jeans sizes combine a width and a length. Measure yourself once, compare the numbers with the charts below, and order the fit that's right for you.
Women
Fit and effect depend on fabric, material and colour: dark tones slim the silhouette, while striking washes add an accent. Women's jeans sizes follow German clothing sizes and combine a width and a length. Measure your waist and hips and compare them with the chart, then measure your inside leg from crotch to floor - easiest with a second person or a spirit level. Lengths are given in inches, the standard unit for jeans.

Men
Measure your waist at the narrowest part of your torso and your seat at the widest part of your hips, then look up the matching width in the chart - men's jeans are sized in inches rather than German clothing sizes. Next, measure your inside leg from crotch to floor, ideally with a second person; this length is given in inches too.

About 5 cm. Length 32 fits an inside leg of 80-83 cm and length 34 an inside leg of 85-88 cm. Each step of 2 inches in jeans length adds roughly 5 cm (2 inches is 5.08 cm).
How many cm difference is there between length 30 and 32?
Also about 5 cm. Length 30 fits an inside leg of 75-78 cm and length 32 an inside leg of 80-83 cm. If your inside leg falls between two lengths, go for the longer one: jeans can always be shortened.
